Times Flies!

It's been forever and a few days since I've blogged a thing but better late than never. So lets preview the past few months. Maisen and Aiden enjoyed their first time playing Tee-Ball and baseball, they both were naturals at it!! Maisen's big blue stood out a mile away so did Aidens rear end!!! I have the pictures to proof it!!

Christmas Time!!

Nine years in a row we have went to Apple Hill with the McKee's to cut down a Christmas tree. So much fun!! This years trip was a little different, first of all the place wasn't packed, then it was raining, and the biggest difference is there was only 3 McKee's. So sad. I have to say that on Thanksgiving when I went to visit my mom she asked who was at dinner. I said you know the Mckee's, Grammie, etc then my mom said which McKee's, I told her and she said that's not the McKee's!!! Too cute. Ash, Logan, Heath, James, and shorty ( aka T) you were all missed. So we cut down our tree, and then headed over to High Hill Ranch for some yummy treats!! Maisen helping our "cutter" Eli

30 plus!!

This is what happens to me if I don't sleep.....for 30 plus hours. I was so worried about my mom, that I refused to sleep. So I had to do this to keep myself awake and amused!!! This was so much fun! I laughed and laughed at myself!!

Nana's trip to the hospital

Monday morning at 11:30 I was woke up by hearing the sound of my dear mom. She was moaning from being in so much pain. She asked me to call 911, so I did. She was taken to Mercy San Juan Hospital, soon after arriving she had a fever of 103.1, and could barely breathe. Needless to say I was so scared. Jason and I sat with her for hours, they did CT scan, ultrasound, chest X ray, you name it they did it. Shortly after the CT scan the doctor came back with the results that my moms cancer has spread to her lungs. After being doctored up all week we finally were able to take her home!! She will be on oxygen but she is feeling much better. Love you mom!!
Grammie stayed the night with my mom.

Bailey was rubbing Nana's head, she really fell asleep.

Look at my momma. She is getting a breathing treatment

Double peace!!! Bet you haven't seen that before!!

Happy Trails

I have been meaning to go hiking the past two years and well ...never got around to making it happen. This morning we drove up to Folsom to what we thought was the beginning of Salmon Falls, it was actually the end, so we started there!! The weather was burrrfect for starters and the boys were so excited to explore. Did I say all three of them were excited?? Aiden and Bailey were, Mais was busy exploring ideas of all of the snakes that could possibly be in the grass ready to bite anyone of us. We had a great hike out, we saw lots of horse droppings ( which amused the boys), cool houses, tons of trees, and we even saw a few people finishing up their ultra marathon. Aiden was in the lead most of our walk oblivious to all of those snakes Maisen was dreaming up. On our way back we had a bit of a scare. While observing a home right by the trail we saw the homes " family pet" which didn't seem friendly at all. In fact I saw it eyeing Aiden as he lead the way. I had Aiden come hold my hand and we decided to walk a different way, only for the dog to walk out of the fence and onto the trail. I was terrified. The dog wasn't barking it was howling. Long story short were all home safe and sound.

So funny!! It was bright

Camping....take II

As if one weekend wasn't enough we were brave enough to do it again! Last weekend we went back to Collins Lake for some more fun, this time only much colder!! Also we brought along Mr. Eli which was tons of fun, since this was his first "real" camping experience, so you know I couldn't resist telling him stories about the "Sasquatch". The boys rode their bikes, went fishing, and sang most of the weekend. The top two hit songs were: Campfire Song ( by Sponge Bob), and Fifty Nifty ( which is my personal favorite). To finish up the weekend we stopped at the Collins Lake store for a scoop of Ice cream. If you ever get the change to go there...BEWARE...the size of the small cone is enough to feed 3 people, safer to get Kiddie cone!!!

Treat or Camping?

Jason and I have love to go camping. So we decided to ask the kids would they rather go trick- or- treating or camping. Bailey immediately said camping and Maisen sat and thought about all the candy that may go to waste. With much thought....camping it was!! Saturday morning we headed off to Collins Lake. We have never been there before but we took our chances. In our favor camping it was a complete hit!! We all had a blast!! Fishing, swimming, riding bikes, roasting marshmallows, and singing campfire songs, this was one of the best camping adventures by far!

So Tank was the only one to be brave enough to try out Collins Lake. He was so cute. I had a blast taking pictures of him. Sand on the belly and all.

Sand on the feet! I love baby feet! He is still my baby.

I love this picture!! Fill in the blanks......

So cute!

Adorable!!!!!

Okay so I love these pictures of Maisen. First of all the pictures are of my precious son, and the look on his face when eating a pop tart. Who would of thought a pop tart would taste so good. Well the Martineau boys!! They don't get to eat these kind of treats on the regular so Maisen was all over it!!

O' yeah!! This is the life!

I can't believe this is real!

Tank....at his finest. This picture explains a fraction of his personality.

Mais with his helmet and fishing pole, he is ready for anything!

This is were is all began. Jas and I after 13 years!

I love this picture of Bailey! This picture says it all! He loves being outdoors.
